The tool for exporting projects and components could be started from menu called  "File -> Export components" on the main screen.

Select a target directory

The first thing to do is to specify where to put data to export:

You could select an empty directory: the tool will automatically create the required directories.

You could select a PVsyst data structure (PVsyst7.0_Data\ or Data\): the tool will export files to the correct directories.

Then wait for the tool to analyze the data: a representation of the current workspace is on the left panel. The export directory is displayed on the right panel.

Analyze data to export

On the left panel every files could have 4 states:

FileName.Ext written in normal font: the file is not exported for the moment.

FileName.Ext written on grey background: the file is already exported in current workspace.

FileName.Ext* followed by a star: the file is already exported in current workspace but has different content.

FileName.Ext written in italic font: a same component is already defined in PVsyst's built-in database.

Export a project

On the left panel, open the Projects section: projects to export are displayed followed by their simulation variants. You could export the full projects (including all variants) or just one or more variants.

Click on the project to select it. Tip: use Ctrl+Click to select more than one element.

No: keep the current file in target directory.

Wait for the end of the exportation: elements you exported (and maybe referenced files) are displayed on right panel (the target directory).

Export a component or another element (Meteo, Shading,...)

On the left panel, open the ComposPV section, then open Batteries or Gensets, ... Tip: you could also export any files from the left panel (meteo or shadings for example).

Click on the component to select it. Tip: use Ctrl+Click to select more than one element.
