Log files are used to track main actions of the program and store some error messages. There are stored in the Admin directory of PVsyst which is located in C:\Users\<usename>\AppData\Local\PVsyst\<version>\ in Windows 10.

There is also a file that contains PVsyst settings: PVsyst.ini

Export log and settings files

Log files are intended for debugging only. In case of persistent error, it is a good practice to send the log files to the PVsyst team, with a description of the problem, see the Contact us section.

 

You can retrieve log files in the menu called "File -> Export logs" on the main screen. Specify an export folder and it will create a zip file containing log and setting files.
