Some procedures in the dialog

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

This gives some tips about the features available on the ModuleLayout dialog.

Orientation:

If several orientations are defined in the system, this view concerns all the table of one orientation at a time. The orientation is chosen using the dedicated combobox.

NB: The orientation of the tables view is referenced by a compass.

The number of modules specified in the "System" part should match the number of modules specified in the Module Layout part for each orientation.

And each MPPT input is also corresponding to a given sub-array, and therefore attributed to a given orientation.

When attributing the association between modules and strings, only the strings of the chosen orientation are activated.

Blue Information Panel

The blue panel on the right always tells you the state of the Module Layout construction, and the action to be taken.

In particular, if you have few modules in excess, you can suppress some of them by right-clicking.

Inversely, if some modules defined in the System have no correspondent in the Module Layout, you can add a column (or a row) to the existing tables.  Be aware that if the table belongs to an array, each table of the array will be concerned in the same way.

Tools bar

You have a set of tools on the right of the image.

ML_ToolsBar

-  First and second button: zoom, which may also be obtained by the mouse wheel

-  Third button: creates an image of the present view as a *.BMP file.

-  Note that you have also a print button on the bottom of the dialog, which allows to get different  Printed outputs, with the possibility of including them in the simulation report. These may namely  be used for a reference wiring schema on the site.

-  Fourth button: gives a choice for the name of each table on the diagram  (Table name, or   Orient#xx, Row#yy, Line#zz).

NB: All the tables of one orientation are automatically numbered as a matrix on the diagram. These indices are not modifiable.

-  Fifth button: enables the mode for moving the attribution of a module by dragging, or swapping between 2 modules.

-  Last button: deselects all the tables which have been multi-selected by using "shift-click".
