Linear shadings
In PVsyst we call "Linear shadings" the shading losses due to the "real" shades visible on the PV arrays, and described by the shading factor.
The "Linear shading" loss is indeed the sum of the loss on the beam component (acc. to the shading factor), the diffuse (constant shading factor on diffuse) and the albedo (constant shading factor on albedo).
This corresponds to the irradiance deficit on the collectors, due to obstacles. This is calculated for the whole orientation (i.e. all 3D fields attached).
