License file

After purchasing a license for PVsyst you have to activate it. This procedure will generate a license file which contains license characteristics. Most of the time you do not need to deal with this file which is fully managed by PVsyst.

Where is stored the license file ?

The license file (pvsyst.lic) is stored where PVsyst's settings are stored.

I formatted my computer or lost my license file and PVsyst now runs in demo mode, how can I recover ?

The license file can be freely generated by us, therefore just follow the license activation procedure and PVsyst will run back in [licensed modlicensed-mode.md.md).
