User data

When starting PVsyst for the first time, a user data structure is created or imported. It is called a workspace.

The default location is:

C:\Users\<username>\PVsyst8.0_Data

Workspace

It contains every data created through PVsyst by the user: projects, PV components,...

The workspace can be easily managed:

• Create a new one,
• Import an existing one,
• Export the current one (backup),
• Switch to another one.

PV components you have defined can also be managed:

• Import external elements,
• Export to an external directory.
