Log and settings files

Log files are used to track main actions of the program and store some error messages. There are stored in the Admin directory of PVsyst which is located in

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\PVsyst\%version%

in Windows 10.

There is also a file that contains PVsyst settings: PVsyst.ini

Export log and settings files

Log files are intended for debugging only. In case of persistent error, it is a good practice to send the log files to the PVsyst team, with a description of the problem, see the Contact us section.

You can retrieve log files in the menu called File > Export logs on the main screen. Specify an export folder and it will create a zip file containing log and setting files.
