Model Result Tool

On the Basic data page of the PV module's definition, the frame Internal Model results tool allows to display the main electrical characteristics under any chosen operating conditions (Irradiance and Temperature).

These values are results of the one-diode model, with the parameters actually specified.

This tool is only informative. It doesn't hold any useful parameter for the definition of the PV module.

However some values may be slightly different from the specified values:

  • The Maximum Power under STC may be slightly different between the 3 concurrent definitions, see Pnom and Pmpp definitions.
  • The temperature coefficient muPmpp is here the tangent of the Pmpp curve at the chosen temperature. It may be different from the specified muPmpp value, which corresponds to a secant of the curve, between T = 25°C and T = 45°C.
