Licensing
Trial period
PVsystCLI can be tested for free during a trial period of 60 days within which a credit of 250 calls can be used.
After that period or when the free calls have all been used, an active license will be required to use the software.
Command-line actions which will count as a call are the following ones:

Yearly subscription
PVsystCLI requires an active subscription to be used. Subscriptions can be renewed three months before they expire.
Purchase
A subscription can be purchased on the PVsyst online shop.
You need to create a web account on our online shop to proceed and order licenses. If you are not a PVsyst customer yet, the first order may take a few days to be processed by our Sales team. If you already purchased licenses, payment by credit card will instantly renew your subscriptions or deliver the new ones.
License status
Use the lic-info command to get information about your current licensing status, read the command reference to learn more about this.
License activation
After you have purchased a license, you will receive an activation key by email.
Use this activation key with the lic-activate command to activate the subscription, read the command reference to learn more about this.
License synchronisation
It may be useful to synchronise an active license with the server information, in order to update a license which has been renewed for example. Use the lic-sync command to synchronise your license, read the command reference to learn more about this.
License deactivation
In order to transfer your license to another computer, you need to deactivate it from the current one.
